The Alliance was founded in 2017 by a network of global research universities in order to promote rigorous and highly impactful academic research on sustainable finance and investment.
We welcome universities who are active in the research areas of sustainable finance and investment to join our Alliance. Member universities in the Alliance work together to govern and contribute to the work of the Alliance toward greater impact for our research.
The GRASFI Board will consider applications from new member universities at any of their meetings during the year.
The Board of GRASFI will receive applications (please send to info@sustainablefinancealliance.org) from Prospective Member Universities. Applications will be considered at the next available Board meeting and new members will only be accepted when there is unanimity from the Board.

4. Prospective Member Universities should have approval to join the Alliance from their Vice Chancellor, Governing Body, or equivalent, or an appropriate delegated authority.
5. Prospective Member Universities commit to making an annual contribution of £5,000 toward the operational expenses of GRASFI. The GRASFI Board can on a a case-by-case basis reduce the fee in response to financial need in any given year. If the prospective member university wishes to apply for such an exemption, this should be included in the application.
