At the conclusion of the 6th Annual GRASFI conference, hosted at Yale’s School of Management, three prizes were awarded.
The overall Best Paper Prize, sponsored by BNP Paribas Asset Management, was awarded to two papers this year:
- “Financial Market Response to Climate Litigation Against Corporations” by five authors from London School of Economics and Political Science.
- “The effect of Divestment from ESG Exchange Traded Funds” by four authors from the University of Otago.
The Most Impactful Paper Prize, sponsored by the Impact Foundation, was awarded to “Managerial forward-looking and firm environmental risk: Evidence from a machine learning approach” by Deng, Lin, and Zhou from the University of Hong Kong
The best PhD Paper was awarded to “Sustainability, Prices and Emotions” by Worsch and Balbaa at the University of Munich.
